Business description

This business is both very successful and very profitable. There is no hidden agenda, I simply don't want to spend the amount of time I do working. I have two children and as a mother I have to make a choice and I have chosen my children. I am also moving to the USA within the next twelve to eighteen months.

I started this business from scratch after spotting a niche in the industry. We work purely within the insurance industry and have built our brand to be well known and respected within this sector. We have the monopoly within our sector and there is huge expansion opportunity. We work for large blue chips down to medium size brokers. We offer telemarketing consisting of database development and lead generation. This is purely business to business and we also offer mailing services.

There are seven employees all of which are of a very high calibre and take little managing.
I am looking for a quick exit from the business and this is represented in the asking price. I am willing to spend one month with the new owner and I am looking for a buyer who is able to move quickly on completion of the sale. I have been offered £1m for the business with the condition that I stay on for a year. I am not motivated by money and due to my current personal circumstances this simply doesn’t appeal to me at all.

We currently have 67 current clients the majority of which are contracted. Clients include national brokers and insurers many of which are household names. We are in the enviable position of being full to capacity and simply have more work than we can handle. Expansion is required but I don’t wish to do this.

I do no marketing activity for the company as we receive enquiries on almost a daily basis. I am currently refusing work due to our current workload.
