Currently based just outside London, the Head Office houses the design, sales, production planning and administration. This company has over 50 years experience as a market leader in its industry. Production is currently split into 3 main areas: Eastern European factories producing 25-40,000 units per week. The company has its own production team and offices locally to control production. Eastern Europe : 3 factories in another part of Eastern Europe, dealing with Outerwear/Tailoring to the highest standards. Again, the company has its own office team of quality controllers based at these factories. Far East: The company has expanded production into China where they are working with three top quality factories producing their rainwear and casual jackets. Quality has been the companies reputation and driving force. The company employs a quality director over their team of controllers, working from first fit through to final delivery, ensuring a consistent level of high quality. These standards were set up over a number of years when the group operated 5 UK factories, and now follow through to its off-shore production, all of which have been approved by the customers QC?s. This business is known throughout the trade as an innovative company with a commercial eye. They employ 6 full time designers with 3 design assistants. Inspiration is sought world-wide for styling and fabrics, each season a range is produced which becomes the nucleus from which the sales people work. The designers in turn work closely with buyers to interpret their individual needs. Working hand in hand with the design department is a team of 6 full time pattern cutters, making sure the fit and final sample is of the highest standard. A team of 8 work on the Gerber system to supplement this. There are 3 sample units: 1 in the UK Head Office, and 2 in Eastern Europe. The customer base is extensive as it covers a wide range of products across the different divisions. Working closely with its customers, the business offers the opportunity to sell the total portfolio of goods to many of the UK?s largest and best known retailers in the market place today.
