Founded by our clients 26 years ago, the
business is only now being reluctantly
offered for sale to enable them to pursue an
alternative unrelated business venture.
Currently run by the 2 vendors with the
assistance of 2 part time members of staff,
the business offers an extensive range of
angling equipment, accessories and bait and
also runs its own pet shop.
The angling centre benefits from little local
competition and has excellent high levels of
repeat business from the many local fishing
clubs.
They concentrate on tackle for the
carp/coarse and the match anglers, although
they do have a small section for the sea and
fly fisherman.
The vendors also organise fishing matches
throughout the year, thus increasing further
the loyal local customer base.
The business has a good web site, which
keeps the local anglers abreast of competition
results, special events and a comprehensive
list of all the products for which they are
stockists.
