THE BUSINESS
Advent Business Sales is pleased to have
been instructed to offer to the market this
very well established and profitable freehold
car body shop together with additional
premises, with A3 permission to convert into
a café/takeaway.
The business, which has been established for
over 6 years and been in the hands of our
vendor for 1½ years.
The owner is only reluctantly offering the
freehold for sale as he feels that he is unable
to cope with the very rapid expansion which
the business is presently undergoing.
The Body Shop carries out repairs to all
models and makes of cars and vans and has
very regular work from local businesses as
well as local retail customers, many of which
come via personal recommendations.
The business employs 4 full time members of
staff including the vendor and 1 part time
who works approximately 25 hours per
week.
The vendor is able and willing to stay and
work in the business or even to sell a portion
of it to an experienced operator who would
develop and grow it and take it to the next

EXPANSION POTENTIAL
The vendor already achieves excellent profit
but both turnover and profit could be
increased by:
1. Doing leaflet drops in the
surrounding residential and
commercial premises and requesting
details be left on company notice
boards
2. Moving the garage office into the A3
premises to be able to have additional
working space available
3. Working more hours
4. Completing the work on the café and
employing staff to manage it. There
is virtually no competition.
