Business description

The company was established eight years ago situated in a small quarry site with easy access to the main road and nearby A30 dual carriageway supporting the county.
It represents the only commercially viable place to tip in the locality as transportation costs make other options too expensive. Waste is re cycled and all non-recyclable substances are reloaded and taken to a landfill site for disposal.

The waste transfer licence permits the company to handle an annual amount of, three thousand tonnes of scrap metal, two thousand tonnes of special wastes, ten thousand tonnes of degradable household wastes and ten thousand tonnes of degradable commercial / industrial waste and an annual amount of twenty five thousand tonnes of inert waste. These figures can be adjusted up to suit the operation when necessary

The company operates a successful skip hire business with around two hundred skips of varying sizes (4-40 yds) being available for hire for up to two weeks at a time. The operation delivers and collects around ninety skips per week. Collection is carried out using one of the two roll on roll off units or one of the two hookloaders. The company has built up an excellent steady trade with a wide variety of clients including housing associations, engineering companies and development operations.

Planning permission has recently been granted to build a large building for undercover re cycling, and a large workshop for the repair and maintenance of vehicles.
