Set against the backdrop of the current economic downturn, the Principal of this business has been forging ahead for the last 3 years with the development of this much needed product line and its routes to a very receptive global market.

From its inception in 2006, the owner has been constantly developing the design of his range of driver safety systems which are made to protect the driver of, say, a taxi, from attack from behind or the passenger side of the front of the vehicle. The full range of products are all manufactured from clear 6mm. thick PETG (polyethyleneterephthalate glycol), are impact resistant to BS5544, Fire Rated to BS476 (parts 6 and 7), Smoke and Toxicity tested to BS476 (part 7, clause 1Y) and Tensile Strength tested at 53.5 N.M sq.and 9.0 KG. J M sq. the material also meets with numerous European ISO and DIN standards and is approved by the Food and Drugs Agency in the USA.

The products have a universal fit and are interchangeable from vehicle to vehicle and are subject to Patent Pending status. The complete range includes

• The Original Driver Protection Screen System
• As above but incorporating an LCD Screen which can be used as an extra revenue stream from advertising etc.
• As per the Original but re-designed to fit Mini Buses, MPV’s and People Carriers.
• As per the Original but including a CCTV Camera.
