The Business Partnership are pleased to offer for sale this easily managed business with low overhead, which was started in 2001 by the present owner and incorporated in August 2006.

The company offers baby hand prints, birthday parties and corporate days. It currently focuses on activities at Nurseries, Toddler Groups and Pre-Schools. The children paint pottery items; mugs, plates, picture frames, clocks and other gift items, each of which are personalized and make a cherished keepsake, or wonderful gifts for grandparents or any other relatives and friends.

The process is very simple and quick, but unique and effective. The experience is suitable for very young children, including babies. All the paints are non-toxic and washable, and once glazed and fired, are completely food safe.

There are approximately 150 pre-schools and nurseries in the Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire area that use the services.

All days are pre-booked and paid for in advance. The business has grown organically from the start with a minimal marketing effort and is primed and ripe for expansion, potentially through franchising.

A full inventory of equipment is included in the sale, primarily kiln, pottery tools, painting equipment, software, web site, advertising and promotional material and training DVD.

Location
The business is currently operated from a home-based workshop/office. The kilns and equipment would readily fit into a standard garage or garden work shop. The business currently operates two kilns, one large and one small.

It could be operated with one large kiln only, if required. Both kilns are available, however the large kiln is due for replacement and is unlikely to survive relocation. The smaller kiln is approximately 3 years old, works of a standard 13Amp socket and in excellent condition.
