Conex Plant and Tool Services Ltd is an established business providing complete plant and tool repair solutions, either on-site or at its fully equipped workshop in Ossett. The business has established a robust reputation for providing a first-class service to the utility industries, primarily, the water and gas providers.

Established in 2006, Conex is an independent family-owned business specialising in the repair and service of contractors' plant machinery and tools; from small petrol tools to excavators, dumpers and ride-on rollers.

Consequently, the business is now a primary provider to its customers and as result sees its staff operating right across the country, with onsite maintenance being supplied as far apart as Kent and Cumbria during 2009.

Whilst trade has declined slightly during the current economic climate, the latest accounts for 2010 still show an annual turnover of around £135,000 and a very healthy profit of around £30,000.

There would appear to be a great amount of potential to develop the business further still, and the current owners feel the addition of a sales representative would go a long way to realising a hitherto untapped market.

The business operates from a lock up unit. Ample workspace is provided by the unit, although a majority of work is on site.
