The present owner established the business in 2004 and now runs a fleet of five vehicles, four vans, and one minibus, thus providing different solutions for a broad base of customers.

Stability and growth is down to the strategy of the business to acquire a solid base of customers, and the business now benefits from high levels of regular repeat custom. A number of local businesses use the company’s vehicles instead of purchasing or leasing their own fleet. Construction companies, manufacturers, printers, banks and even a local film business are amongst the most dependable customers.

The business also receives numerous one off, lucrative jobs as a result of recommendations and the fact that there is no competition in the area.

One of the vehicles has been hired out on a long-term agreement for the last five years.

The business does not presently arrange theatre trips or organised holidays, which is a considerable area for growth for the purchaser. They do enjoy a strong revenue stream from the private hire market with many customers returning year after year. The operation has a good level of bookings taking them right through 2009 and beyond. The company has a database of some 700-800 clients at present.
