THE BUSINESS
This is a marvellous business drawing from the huge numbers of visitors to the area many have been visiting the Silverdale Hotel for more than three generations. There are three large caravan sites within walking distance busy all year round and the hotel is a favourite with coach parties from across the north of England.
Turnover for the last financial year was £525,000 inc V.A.T. split 65% food 30% wet and 5% accommodation, with a reconstituted net operating profit of £100,000 making this a very desirable business when compared with many on the market.
Our clients are reluctantly selling the business due to ill health and would have envisaged being in place for many years to come. They have already invested heavily in developing the function room and improving the building to the tune of £140,000 capital scheme partly funded by the brewery and are only just feeling the benefits through staggering bookings, for functions and other activity.
We would strongly advise early viewing of this business as even in the current climate this stands out as a very robust and profitable business.
